La Punta, Zicatela and Carrizalillo are a short drive away, known for their surf, vibrant cafés, restaurants, and relaxed coastal culture.

Puerto Escondido International Airport (PXM) is approximately 30 minute drive from the property.

For additional flight options, Huatulco International Airport (HUX) is approximately 1.5 hours by car, and Oaxaca City International Airport (OAX) is about a 2.5-hour drive.

Who we are

We created Casa Serendipia first as our own home — and later as a place we felt called to share.

Before becoming hosts, we spent many years traveling with friends, family and hosting retreats around the world. We know what it’s like to search for the right place — one that looks beautiful in photos, but also feels safe, grounding, and truly as promised when you arrive. We remember wondering if we could trust what we were seeing online, and how important that trust is when bringing people together for something meaningful.

Many of the details you’ll notice here were inspired by what we loved most during those travels — spaces that felt calm, welcoming, and genuinely cared for. Casa Serendipia was designed to offer that same sense of ease and reassurance from the moment you arrive.

This is still our home, and one we care for deeply. Our hope is that you feel that right away — that everything feels as it should, and that you can settle in and relax.

We take great care in welcoming our guests and supporting each stay, because we know how much it matters to feel confident in the place you’ve chosen. Whether you’re gathering loved ones, hosting something special, or simply stepping away from everyday life, we want you to feel comfortable, cared for, and truly welcome.
